What it is

PolyFund is a decentralized platform built on top of Polymarket where a predictor manages a pooled fund and investors deposit capital for that predictor to trade on their behalf. Anyone can open a fund or put money into one that another manager already runs, and the underlying positions settle through Polymarket's own market infrastructure. The site's own documentation calls this arrangement fund management rather than a signal-following bot, and Predicts.guru curates it under copy trading because the effect for an investor is similar: someone else picks the trades.

Each fund is isolated, so a manager can only trade the capital deposited into that specific fund and cannot touch capital sitting in a different one. A manager sets a performance fee, taken from profit, as their price for running the fund, and a leaderboard on the site ranks managers by the total profit they've generated for depositors.

How it works

A trader who wants to invest starts by depositing USDC.e into a platform balance, then allocating some of it to a specific fund, either one they manage themselves or one run by a predictor chosen from the fund list or the manager leaderboard. That allocation moves into a Fund Contract, the smart contract the documentation says securely holds and manages investor money for that fund alone.

From there the predictor assigned to the fund places trades in Polymarket markets using only the capital inside that fund's contract; fund isolation prevents them from reaching into deposits made to a different fund. Positions take the form of conditional tokens, and Polymarket's own infrastructure, not PolyFund, settles the underlying markets and resolves outcomes.

PolyFund holds two layers of custody: a platform balance for USDC.e a trader has deposited but not yet committed to a fund, and separate Fund Contracts once capital is allocated to one. It takes no cut of its own; only a manager's performance fee is charged, and only against profit. A depositor can withdraw or swap the platform balance freely, but money already allocated to an open fund is subject to whatever terms that fund's stage and manager impose.

What it does

  • Fund isolation

A manager can trade only the capital deposited into their own fund and cannot touch money sitting in someone else's, limiting the damage one bad predictor can do.

  • Performance-fee pricing

Each predictor sets their own fee, taken from profit rather than charged upfront, so a losing fund costs the manager nothing extra beyond a failed track record.

  • Permissionless fund creation

Anyone can open a new fund and set its own terms, or deposit into an existing one, without an application or approval step.

  • Manager leaderboard

The top managers panel ranks predictors by total profit generated for depositors, giving an investor a public track record to check before committing capital.

Who it is for

Investor seeking hands-off exposure
Suits someone who wants Polymarket exposure without picking individual markets, by backing a predictor's fund instead of trading directly.
Predictor monetizing a track record
A skilled trader can open a fund, take deposits from others, and earn a performance fee on top of their own trading profit.
Small-scale fund experimenter
Fits someone testing a strategy with a small, isolated pool of capital before risking a larger amount on their own account.
Investor comparing multiple managers
Useful for someone who wants to browse several open funds side by side, checking leaderboard results before choosing where to deposit.

Custody and transparency

Deposits sit first in a platform balance and then in a per-fund smart contract once money is allocated, and the operator's documentation says that structure keeps one fund's capital walled off from every other fund. The documentation also carries a dedicated security audit section. Isolation and an audit reference do not remove the manager as a point of failure: a predictor with control over a fund's trades can still lose a depositor's money through ordinary bad calls, and profit shown on the leaderboard is the manager's own record, not a guarantee for a new depositor. The verified Polymarket profile confirms the builder code is legitimate, not that any individual fund is a safe bet.

Questions

  • Is PolyFund a copy trading bot?

Not in the automated sense. It is a platform where a predictor manages a pooled fund and investors deposit capital for that predictor to trade, closer to fund management than a wallet-mirroring bot.

  • Does PolyFund hold my funds?

Deposits sit in a platform balance before allocation and then in a per-fund smart contract once you invest, isolated from every other fund's capital rather than pooled together in one place.

  • What does PolyFund charge?

It advertises Up to 3% as a performance fee, but each predictor sets their own fee for the fund they manage, so the actual rate varies by which fund you choose.

  • How do I invest through PolyFund?

Deposit USDC.e into a platform balance, then allocate it to an existing fund from the fund list or manager leaderboard, or open a new fund yourself.

  • Is the PolyFund Telegram an automated bot?

No. The Telegram link is a group chat rather than a bot account, so there is no automated channel there for account-specific actions or support.

  • Who manages the funds on PolyFund?

Anyone can become a predictor and open a fund, since the platform is permissionless; a manager leaderboard ranks them by total profit generated for depositors.

  • What happened to volume on PolyFund recently?

Recent activity, shown through +168.1% and 27, reflects a small cohort of 1 wallets routing through a builder ranked #83 by all-time attributed volume, per the site's own figures.

How these numbers are measured

Polymarket reports $3.8M of all-time volume for PolyFund, including attribution from before onchain V2. The indexed figure used for fees, fill sizes, and buy/sell split is $1.8M, counted as outcome-share par notional on CLOB V2 only, so the two totals differ by design.

97.1% of attributed volume is buy-side, which indicates whether the venue is used mainly to open positions or to exit them.
