Simmer.Markets 열기

Simmer.Markets, branded Simmer, is a harness that lets AI agents in Claude Code, Codex or similar coding agents trade Polymarket, Kalshi and Hyperliquid on your behalf inside hard dollar and trade caps you set. It suits traders willing to let an agent execute strategy, and hinges on trusting the caps and the skill installed.

What it is

Simmer.Markets, which brands itself simply as Simmer, is a harness for AI agents rather than an app a person clicks through by hand. It runs inside coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Grok CLI and Hermes Agent, and works by installing a trading skill the agent then executes on its own, routing fills to Polymarket, Kalshi and Hyperliquid.

The product centers on a marketplace of remixable skills, from momentum scalpers to weather and copy-trading strategies, each listing its own settled result. A trader can also describe a strategy in a sentence and let the skill builder generate the market selection, entry, exit and sizing as a runnable folder. Its Telegram presence is a group chat for early users, not a bot that trades on command.

How it works

Connecting starts outside Polymarket's own interface: a trader installs Simmer's skill runtime into a coding agent, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Grok CLI or Hermes Agent, with a single terminal command, then installs or writes a trading skill from the marketplace. Every skill starts against play money, and only moves to real markets once the trader links a wallet.

Once live, the agent evaluates its skill's logic and places its own trades, with per-trade and per-day dollar caps, a trade-count cap and a stop-loss the agent cannot override. Orders route to Polymarket, Kalshi or Hyperliquid depending on the skill, under Simmer's builder code, and each fill is logged with the reasoning the agent gave for taking it.

Custody stays with the trader: the signing key never leaves the agent, so Simmer itself is not shown holding funds in escrow. What it does hold is the skill logic, the guardrail settings and, for subscribers, the Autoresearch and signal feeds the agent draws on to decide what to trade next.

What it does

  • Hard trading caps

Per-trade and per-day dollar limits, a trade-count ceiling and a stop-loss cap the agent's exposure and cannot be raised by the agent itself.

  • Natural-language skill builder

Describe a strategy in a sentence and the skill builder hands back a runnable script covering market selection, entry, exit and position sizing.

  • Public reasoning log

Every trade an agent takes gets logged with the reasoning behind it, so a trader can review after the fact why a fill happened.

  • Autoresearch holdout testing

Continuous experiments run over an agent's own trade history, and a strategy only counts as a win once it survives a holdout the experiment never saw.

  • Whale and copy signals

Whale trades and copy-trade signals reach the agent already filtered to the markets its skill trades, rather than a raw, unfiltered feed.

Who it is for

Coding-agent power users
Traders already running Claude Code or Codex for other work can bolt on a trading skill without leaving that environment.
Strategy builders without code skills
A trader can describe an edge in plain language and receive a bounded, dry-run-by-default script instead of writing the logic themselves.
Weather and crypto scalpers
Average fills here run in dollar sizes, which fits traders testing narrow strategies like weather buckets or minute-candle momentum rather than desk-sized positions.
Skill authors seeking royalties
Building a popular skill others install turns a strategy into a shared asset, since the marketplace credits the original author when it gets remixed.
Traders wary of manual execution
Handing entries and exits to a capped agent suits someone who trusts a tested skill more than their own reaction time during fast markets.

What it costs

Simmer.Markets publishes no fee schedule of its own, on its site or in its Telegram group. What a trader pays instead comes from two layers: Polymarket's own per-market trading fee, which is identical for every builder and not something Simmer sets, and whatever the skill itself charges, such as an Autoresearch or signal subscription. Before funding a wallet, check the specific skill's pricing page or its own SKILL.md rather than assuming Simmer sets a rate itself, since none of the evidence shows one.

Strengths

  • Trades are capped by hard per-trade and per-day dollar limits the agent itself cannot raise, which bounds the damage from a bad skill.
  • New skills start on play money, so a strategy gets a dry run before any real wallet is linked.
  • The signing key never leaves the agent, keeping custody of funds with the trader rather than with Simmer.
  • Every trade carries a logged reason, giving a trader something concrete to audit when a skill underperforms.
  • A marketplace of remixable skills, from weather trading to copy-trading, lets a trader start from a working strategy instead of writing one from scratch.

Limitations

  • Simmer publishes no fee schedule, so a trader has to chase down what any given skill actually charges before committing money.
  • Handing execution to an agent means a trader is trusting a skill's logic and its author's judgment as much as the platform itself.
  • Reaching Simmer requires comfort installing packages and running a coding agent, which rules out anyone who only wants a web dashboard or mobile app.
  • PRO features like Autoresearch and the whale-signal feed sit behind a tier the operator's own page does not price.

Custody and transparency

Custody stays with the trader: Simmer's own material says the signing key never leaves the agent, and funds only move once a wallet is linked and only inside the per-trade and per-day caps set beforehand. Transparency runs through the logged reasoning attached to each trade, which lets a trader check a skill's decision after the fact. The operational exposure is different from a typical builder: risk sits in the skill's code and in whether the agent's guardrails hold under a runtime the trader does not fully control, more than in Simmer holding assets itself.

Verdict

Simmer.Markets fits a narrow but real audience: traders who already run a coding agent day to day and would rather hand it a bounded strategy than watch charts themselves. The guardrails, the play-money warmup and the logged reasoning behind every trade give a real check on an autonomous agent before it touches a live wallet. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants a conventional terminal or app, or who is not willing to read a skill's logic before trusting it with capped but real money. Traders skeptical of automated execution, or unwilling to install a coding-agent toolchain, should look elsewhere.

Questions

  • What is Simmer.Markets?

Simmer.Markets, branded Simmer, is a harness that lets AI agents running in Claude Code, Codex and similar coding tools trade Polymarket, Kalshi and Hyperliquid under installed trading skills rather than manual clicks.

  • Is Simmer.Markets safe to connect a wallet to?

New skills run on play money first, real trades only start once a wallet is linked, and the signing key never leaves the agent, but a bad skill can still lose money inside its caps.

  • What does Simmer.Markets cost to use?

Simmer publishes no fee schedule of its own; a trader pays Polymarket's standard per-market trading fee plus whatever the specific installed skill or its PRO tier charges.

  • Does Simmer.Markets hold trader funds?

No custody is shown in the evidence: the operator states the signing key never leaves the agent, and a wallet only connects once a trader chooses to move past play money.

  • How does the Simmer.Markets skill builder work?

A trader describes a strategy in a sentence, and the builder returns a runnable script with bounded market selection, entry, exit and sizing logic, defaulting to a dry run before it trades live.

  • Is the Simmer Telegram group an official trading bot?

No, the Telegram link is a group chat for early users, not a bot; trades come from skills running inside a trader's own coding agent, not from anything triggered in Telegram.

  • What are alternatives to Simmer.Markets for automated Polymarket trading?

Traders who want automation without running a coding agent should compare #59 and volume against other Polymarket builders on this site before picking one that fits their setup and risk tolerance.
